A national communications and storytelling initiative designed to strengthen mission clarity, increase volunteer engagement, and build deeper community connection. My role focused on strategic communications and narrative support, including the growth of the Love Stories campaign, working alongside Love INC leadership.

THE SITUATION

Love INC is a national network mobilizing churches and community partners to meet the practical needs of individuals and families. While the organization’s reach and impact were significant, its communications needed greater clarity and cohesion to fully reflect the scale and heart of its work.
Several challenges shaped the opportunity:

Working in collaboration with Love INC, I supported the development of a communications approach designed to clarify the organization’s mission, elevate lived experiences, and strengthen engagement across audiences.
Key areas of focus included:

Messaging was refined to clearly communicate Love INC’s purpose, values, and service model, helping audiences understand not only what the organization does, but why it matters.

Expansion of the Love Stories Campaign
I supported and helped grow the Love Stories campaign, which highlighted real experiences of individuals, families, volunteers, and churches impacted by Love INC’s work. These stories were shared across social media, newsletters, and community touchpoints to deepen understanding and connection.

Targeted outreach efforts were developed to recruit and retain volunteers, emphasizing shared purpose, relational impact, and the role volunteers play in strengthening communities.

By strengthening mission clarity and centering authentic, human experiences, Love INC was able to deepen volunteer engagement, expand community awareness, and more clearly communicate the heart of its work. The growth of the Love Stories campaign illustrates how intentional communications can translate values into action and help build stronger, more compassionate communities.
